Generally, house insurance policies stipulate regular visits to vacant properties, to keep your cover valid, but most importantly, we are here to give you peace of mind whilst you are away.
We are a mature, trusted, Ventnor couple, with 30 years of property experience. We are fully insured and DBS checked (certificates provided).

Firstly, we can check your property both internally and externally, making sure everything is as it should be, with no signs of water escape, forced entry or weather damage etc.

We will give you updates via text or email, so you know everything is well.
Properties will only ever be visited by us personally, so we really get to know your property and will provide a professional and very reliable service.
If we hold your key, it will be coded, with no reference to your address.
We moved to Ventnor in 2010 and have carried out home visits for 4 years (including on our own properties as well as for family and friends).
As serial property renovators for over 30 years, there is not much we haven't come across and we certainly know what to look out for when inspecting properties.

Our prices start at £30 per visit and depend on the sort of services we provide for you. Please email or message your requirements, and we can come back to you with an idea on cost. We can then arrange to come and meet you, to go through everything you would like carried out and, if you are happy to go ahead, once you have met us, we can collect a key.
That's not a problem. Just get in contact with us, and we will look after things for as long as you need us.
Firstly, we will get in touch with you and talk things through and can send photos or video of the problem. Obviously, if it is something that has a simple solution, we will use our common sense and not trouble you.
Yes. However, if you wish us to let in trades that are known to you, we are happy to do this (i.e. the boiler service is due whilst you are away).
No. For security reasons, we like to give the appearance of either owning the property or family members visiting.
We will vary the time of day (or day of the week if doing weekly visits) as this provides the best security if anyone is watching your property. We generally visit between 8am and 4pm, which provides good light for visual inspections.
